My name is Will Burn and I have been a full-time translator since 2018 and work with private and agency clients in the UK and the EU. I hold the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists as well as a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of Nottingham and a BA (1st class) in English Literature and Language from King's College, London. I love the challenge of professional translation in all its forms, from producing beautifully-crafted marketing and promotional texts to concise and precise academic reports.

Before taking the leap to fulfil a long-held desire to work as a full-time, professional translator, I worked in education for sixteen years. Along with languages, my other great passion is music. I have been fortunate to perform as a soloist in great works by Bach, Handel, Mozart and Verdi. It will come as no surprise to learn I love the German Lieder repertoire, especially the works of Robert Schumann.
